Why this trade show and not another one
The timing is the real argument. Gastvrij Rotterdam runs in late September, just as terrace season ends, so you walk in knowing exactly what strained over the summer — a very different frame of mind from a January show. Whatever you decide has time to be running before December.
It also stays genuinely gastronomic. Alongside the 500-plus exhibitors sit competitions, masterclasses and tastings with star chefs, Masters of Wine and other specialists. The last edition drew 20,624 visitors, so it is worth a day for the peers alone.

Getting your ticket
Tickets are handled by Gastvrij Rotterdam themselves. You register on gastvrij-rotterdam.nl with your business details, and normally that means paying for entry.
You can also come in on a code from an exhibitor. We receive a limited number to pass on — request one using the button below and we will come back to you on what we can do. They go quickly, so earlier is better.
Practical information about Gastvrij Rotterdam
Dates: 21, 22 and 23 September 2026. Open daily from 10:00 to 18:00.
Address: Rotterdam Ahoy, Ahoyweg 10, 3084 BD Rotterdam.
By car: Ahoy has around 2.000 parking spaces and a parking ticket costs €20. The Zuidplein garage is a five-minute walk away at its own rates. P+R sites at Slinge and Kralingse Zoom let you park further out and finish the journey by metro.
By public transport: Ahoy sits directly on the Rotterdam metro network and is straightforward from Rotterdam Centraal.
